I can’t quite believe how much Wally De Backer sounds like Sting, and there’s some sense of familiarity, almost de ja vu to the song, as if I heard it when I was a child. Both Kimbra and De Backer maintain absolute control over their vocals throughout, to create the tense calm drifting into outrage; the lyrics read like a recurring argument between exlovers.
